Turning Earth into Art

Welcome

Hello, I'm Dawn.

I'm a teacher and potter based in Godalming, Surrey, where I share my love of all things of the Earth, Wheel and Fire.
For over a decade I've been larking around with mud, finding my groove handbuilding and throwing pots on the wheel and offering them up to the flames! My work is available in my shop and by commission .
I run workshops and  pottery experiences from my home studio. I also host fun events at local venues including Pottery at the Pub evenings!
If you are up for getting your hands dirty and discovering what you can create then EW&F could just be what you have been looking for.

Get in touch to chat about options for Date- Night (or Mate Night) pottery sessions, Pot and Prosecco or Garden Raku Parties.

About

A Supportive Community for Creatives

Earth Wheel and Fire offers a calm and supportive space for the creatively curious. All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to those looking to develop their skills in clay.

Working with clay connects us with the earth, others and ourselves. My aim is to encourage you to nurture your creativity and take some risks -though it's only mud, after all! I offer experienced, hands-on support to enable you to achieve your own  creative goals.

Pottery at the Pub!

Thursday Throwdowns at the Fox and Finch pub in Godalming offers a chance to try your hand at throwing on the wheel. Gather for a  sociable evening of pottery fun, grab a drink from the bar (for some Dutch courage?) and watch a step-by-step demo before rolling up your sleeves to give it a go.

Your pot will be dried, fired and glazed for you to collect a few weeks later.
